Disneyworld Blues

What an amazing experience! I cannot even begin to tell you what a wonderful time we had at Disneyworld. Thankfully, my mom was there to help us through it all! I thought Jeff's arm was going to fall off a few times since he had to carry Dillon everywhere.

The kids loved all of the rides. Dillon's favorite was Thunder Mountain Railroad and he wanted to go again and again and again. Luckily, since it was my birthday we were able to get Fast Passes for the group and he was able to go on it three times in a row without a wait! He went on everything that he was tall enough for and had a wonderful time. You should have seen his face on Splash Mountain, it was priceless after he got done with the BIG drop! He had a huge smile on his face because he wanted to go again. Who knew our son was such a daredevil?

Anyway, the kids loved the parades. Kylie's face lit up when she saw all of the characters parading down the street. I thought it was funny since she does not watch any television and she was getting excited about things she has never seen before. Her favorite ride was It's a Small World. It looked like she was going to jump out of my mom's arms. That is where she was most of the trip, with her Grandma getting lots of loves :-) Thank you again Mom, I had a wonderful time with you!

Disneyworld Here We Come!

Well it is official! Tomorrow we will enter our day of insanity, chaos, and pure exhilaration of a road trip!! We are going off to Disneyworld tomorrow with Jeff, my mom, and the kids. What were we thinking when we booked this trip? Oh yeah, that we are going to have the best time EVER! Dillon is beyond excited and we have him on the computer picking which rides he wants to go on. I am nervous because it will take us awhile to get there and neither of the kids have been in a hotel, but I know we will get through it!
I have my camera and laptop in tow with me so I am hoping to be able to load some pictures online. I will keep you posted! I hope you all have a great week. Also, I can't believe I am turning 30 in three more days. I am a little depressed, but luckily I will be at Disneyworld to get rid of my thirysomething blues :-)

Life

Well, things are going good over here. Yesterday was a beautiful spring day so the whole family was outside playing soccer, gardening, baseball, and riding bikes. It was great to see Kylie having such a good time out in the wagon.

Jeff walked a couple of miles just from pushing the girl around. Socs had a great time too because she was allowed to roam free in the neighborhood. Dillon played with his friend next door for quite awhile. Jeff loved it because it was his turn to put the kids down and Dillon fell asleep right away! We actually wore him down, now that is a hard task.

I really need to get better at posting here again. I also need to start running in the morning because I have gained quite a bit of weight and I feel like it is out of control. We will see how that goes though! I have not been motivated to get up early!

We have about 15 more days until we go to Disneyworld with the kids. We are so excited to take the kids. My mom is going to be our nanny on the trip. I am excited she will get to share this experience with us.

Happy Birthday Kylie

I just wanted to wish Kylie a Happy Birthday! I can't believe she is one today! I will post pictures and video later of her first cake.

Can you believe this is when she was one day old? The time sure is flying by! She is such a joy to have in our family and I love how wonderful Dillon is with his little sister. He is such a blessing and is always watching out for her.

The other day I had to take Kylie and Dillon with me to a night class and some of the other members of the class wanted to hold Kylie. Well, you should have seen Dillon, he was watching them like a hawk! He kept asking me to go get her. Well as time went on and the ladies came and got the stroller to put Kylie in while they played with her. Well the next thing I know is Dillon quietly gets up from his seat next to me, goes to the back of the room, pushes Kylie in the stroller back to us with a triumphant grin on his face, and tell me, " I got our Kylie girl!" I love to watch his little eyes twinkle :-) Kylie is enamored with her brother, wherever he goes, so does she, and he loves it!!!!

Sorry about such a long delay in updating. We had such a wonderful break together and Christmas that it was hard to make myself get to the computer. Dillon got a bike from Santa and we have been spending most of our days playing outside with our new toys, playing with friends, and riding our bikes. Things have been a little crazy. I returned to school and so did the kids. I think that I am exhausted and already ready for summer vacation! How ridiculous is that! We have 6 more months until June arrives. Anyway, thank you for all the family that sent money to get the presents. The kids had a wonderful time opening all of their presents and knowing how Uncles, Aunts, Grandmas, Grandpas, Great Grandmas, and Nanas, and Papas love them so much with all of their wonderful things. We appreciate all you have done!

This is Dillon with his race track. When his friend Reese came over, they had a great time racing with each other.

Kylie and Dillon love to play in the new ball house together. Kylie likes that there are so many openings to get in and out from.

This picture just shows how apprciative Dillon was during the opening time. He was hilarious because he just kept hugging us and saying thank you over and over again. I love that kid!

This is a picture of Kylie's pile of presents. Seriously, they were spoiled this Christmas with all the things people sent them! We feel so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!

Here is Dillon's pile. The picture is small so it is hard to get the full picture, but it was so much fun watching his expression for his presents. Kylie only wanted to climb on the boxes, she did not want anything to do with opening the presents. She was too busy climbing!

Here is Dillon with his new scooter. He loves to ride that thing in the house. Maybe we should not let him, but you are only a kid once and he loves to chase us around the house with his scooter.

Kylie loved her Noah's Ark from Nana and Papa. Here she is doing what she does best, chewing on her toys. Dillon really enjoyed playing with it too.

This is the kids getting ready for bed on Christmas Eve before they opened their one present. I have never seen Dillon go to bed so early. He was ready for Santa to come. Jeff went up in the attic and rang some bells and said, " Ho, Ho, Ho!" The look on Dillon's face was priceless because he could hear Santa!
