Well a great time was had by all! We went to the amusement/ water park yesterday and it was an amazing day together! The amusement park is called Carowinds and it is about 1 1/2 hours away from the house so we bought some season tickets and made the drive out there. Here is a picture of Dillon on his first ride there. We have been to this park before, but it is great as Dillon gets older to get to see his change in reactions to the rides and he is becoming quite the little daredevil on the rides. If he is tall enough to ride on it, he will!!! When we mosied over to the water park area they have a rule that the kids have to have on a life jacket. Poor Kylie fell face forward after I put this gigantic thing on her. She was very hesitant with the water at first, but when the waves started to come in the wave pool she did not want to get out. She was cracking up each time a wave hit her and then she would splash the water for more saying, "more, more!" She is too cute :-)

Here we are when she was not sure what to do with the water. I was shocked that she did not try to jump in the way she is with water, but kids are always a little tricky. Once you think you know what they are going to do, they throw you for a loop!

My little fish Dillon was having a great time. Jeff was wrestling and playing with him in the wave pool and it was so much fun to watch. I always feel so blessed when I can sit back and watch my family and just see what a true gift God has given to me with such a wonderful husband, son, and daughter! Dillon is doing sooooo much better with the swimming, but we still have a lot of work to do.

This is Kylie watching Dillon go down the water slide. There is an area in the park where they have different little play areas for the kids and Dillon liked this part the best! You can tell Jeff is already exhausted since he just played with Dillon for about one hour in the wave pool. However, the kids do not seem to know what the word "tired" means and they keep going with all of the energy in the world. If only I could bottle up that energy!!!!

Dillon was being a little ham and cheesing up his smile for me. He kept wanting to pose and take a picture and then he would run off to some new water attraction. Look at our little Kylie girl sitting so proper in the chair, isn't she adorable?! Let me hear you say it, " Yes Staci, she is the most adorable girl in the world!" Thank you!

Jeff took a picture of Dillon and since he would not of course pose with me, I just snuck in the back. I have to get in the pictures somehow!

Well as any parent who has taken their child someplace that requires a lot of walking knows, it was the end of the day and that means a) piggy back ride b) shoulder ride c) stroller d) all of the above. Dillon chose b because that is how he likes it! He loves to be on top of the world and not having a care! I would like it like that too, maybe I should get on Jeff's shoulders and see how that goes :-)
I think he would break!!!!

Kylie girl and I were waiting outside while Jeff and Dillon finished their last ride. I just had to get a picture of her because the water bottle is seriously almost as big as her. She wanted to carry that thing everywhere! Unfortunately she has grown quite attached to the thing because she threw an absolute fit today when I was doing the dishes and she saw it and could not play with it again!!!! What am I going to do with that girl?!

The rest of the day was wonderful because we went to see Kristy and the kids in Charlotte, NC. I just love visiting her. She has become such a great friend and I like to see the kids interacting with her kids. I think it is great because Jeff and her husband Kelly grew up together and played, now our kids get to play together. We had to move to the other side of the United States, but they get to play together. I guess it was worth it!!!
Well my hand is getting sore from this long post. The kids are in bed crazy early tonight because we did not get home until 8:30 last night after leaving the house at 8:30 in the morning. They did not take naps and they were wide awake when we got home. So as you can imagine, Jeff and I had a couple of drinks when they did finally go down because of the long, tiring, family, amazing day!

So I am sitting here at the computer and trying to think of a blog that would be inspiring, but I am at a loss. However, I need some help!!!!! Ever since I had Kylie my weight is uncontrollable. I have worked out, eaten right, and still.... nothing! It is very frustrating! Soooooo, I am going to start to before and after pictures and blog about the results once a week. I will start tomorrow and have Jeff take a picture of me and I will post it online. I know it will not be the prettiest sight, but this is just getting ridiculous!

This weekend we are going to take Dillon to an amusement park called Carowinds. It is awesome because it has all of the Nickolodeon characters that he loves. It also has a water park that Kylie will enjoy. I am hoping the forecasters are right when they say it will be 84 and sunny. We have had a lot of rainy days here in South Carolina. However, I am not complaining because since I am from Phoenix, I will take all of the rainy days I can get. It is funny because the people that are from here are like, " another rainy day! I just want to see the sun!" While I am shouting, " I love this weather, let's go play outside!!!"

I am so excited about the response for the Phoenix party when I bring the kids for a week. It looks like it will be a really good time with close friends and family. Dillon and Kylie will not know what to do with themselves with so many friends :-) I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful group of friends and family that are willing to celebrate and take time out of their day to be with us! I am going to miss the people that cannot make it for various reasons, but that is what the other days of the week are for too!! Like I get to see Lori and possibly Monica at Waterworld or now called Wet N Wild on Thursday. The kids will really enjoy that! I have not been there in forever. It reminds me of all the times Kelly Flowers and I would go there over the summer. The one time my mom finally bought me a summer pass is when I had to wear a cast on my arm for the summer, of all the luck!!

Well be looking for the picture tomorrow, please leave comments because I am going to need all of the motivation that I can to lose this weight. It has been around me for more than 15 months and it has to stop now!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Tired

Well this weekend was a flurry of activities. We went to a hot air balloon festival, took Dillon to the movies, visited friends in North Carolina, went to Monkey Joe's, and BBQ'd to celebrate Memorial day weekend. It was a great weekend!

Kylie and Dillon were troopers for their weekend of activity. I love being active with the kids. Jeff always is great and just goes along with our activities. However, when we went to visit our friends in North Carolina I told him to take a break.

Anyway, I took Dillon to the pool yesterday and he is starting to become a better swimmer. He loved being in the pool although it was like 60 degrees in there. It was FREEZING! I told Jeff to take Kylie back home because it was too cold for her to swim in. Dillon did not care, but I think Kylie would be a little upset about her feet turning into Popsicles.

Well I have about three more weeks until I go to Arizona. My dad is going to take Dillon fishing so Dillon keeps talking about how many fish he is going to catch. He also told me he is going to clean them and eat them. I hope they catch something because otherwise I might be going to the store for some fish. :-)

School is coming to a close and I am excited to start the summer with the kids. I am really sad that I will be taking some classes during the summer, but I have some other activities that we will be planning for the summer. I want to take Dillon to the beach, railroad, and going to Alabama to visit friends. Also, my friend Kristy and her husband have a camper and we were talking about taking the kids out camping together. I would absolutely love that!!!

Well I have to get going, I will update more. Here is a link to the hot air balloons that came by our house that was exciting to see!!

Going to Phoenix!

Well it is official! I just made my plane reservations and I will be coming in June 16th-23rd. I can't wait to see family and friends. I will only be there a short time but I am hoping to see everybody :-) Maybe my mom will let people come to the house on Saturday as an open house to see the kids and me. I would love to make arrangements to see everybody, but with the short time I will be home, I know that is not possible if we do not do an open house!!!

Anyway, last night Dillon had a little celebration for his school for moving up to 4K. I am soo proud of him. He had the biggest smile on his face. He was so proud to sing his songs for us. The whole program was wonderful! We are so blessed we have found a good school for Dillon that he loves and they are so caring! Also, you should see Dillon reading. I will have to take a little video of him but he is becoming such a good reader.

Kylie is doing wonderful. She is finally starting to talk a little more again. She is pointing at more things and it always intrigued by what Dillon is doing. She is his little shadow. She is always soo happy and affectionate. I love that she is a little cuddle bug. I just hope and pray on the flight she is the same way. Since the plane tickets are costly, she will be sitting on my lap for the flight with big brother Dillon by our side :-) Hopefully I will have enough stuff to keep them entertained for that long day of travel!!!! I have only traveled alone with one child, we will have to see how it is with two. I might just say that people will have to come visit us now in our majestic Greenville, SC. We are always up for visitors.

Well I have to get going but I hope everyone has a wonderful day. I will post more information about the Open House coming up when we go to Arizona. I think I will send an evite invitation so email your email address at sdombroski@hotmail.com so I can give you more details.

Ta Ta for now!
